“I have yet to see a presidential candidate articulate the breadth and the depth of the financial problems this country has,” King said.
That quote by King was in the 12/6 Register, and also on WHO radio. Both times it made my jaw drop. While it’s true that all but one of the Republican candidates for President run around spouting the usual drivel, “I want to lower taxes and cut spending!”, there is one that says, “We’re bankrupt, we have a worthless currency, we need to be on the gold standard, and we don’t need to cut the spending in these five departments, we need to eliminate them.”
King is clueless. There IS someone pointing out the elephant in the room, quit ignoring him.
Jim Roach
[That last line is kind of funny, "elephant in the room", Republicans, get it? The other is, Ron Paul IS the elephant in the room as far as the media and the Republican establishment is concerned. They do so wish to ignore him.]
