Just yesterday at the Swift Stop, a customer and the clerk were talking about the lack of decent jobs. The customer recently came through Detroit and talked about it being like a ghost town.
So everyone gets it, it’s not real tough to see what is destroying America.
Yet virtually every action taken by Congress in the past 40 years guarantees driving manufacturing away. Think not? Investigate Ruth Harkin and OPIC sometime.
Not having a decent job affects all aspects of life. From the amount of tax revenues taken in, to the stability of individual families. It’s a lot easier to be respectable at $25 an hour as opposed to $8.
Most ironic, the places where the jobs were shipped to, the people never even benefitted, they had no rights to begin with.

(That’s another way of saying throw the bastards out of Congress. Every last one.)
