As someone who has enjoyed tennis since about age 12, during the heyday
years of Jimmy Connors, Chris Evert, and the Wilson T-3000 racquet, I am
so glad to have stumbled upon the instructional site of Will Hamilton,
Fuzzy Yellow Balls.
This very young man out of Washington DC, knows how to analyze tennis,
and the athlete who plays it. His brilliance is in the simplicity. He looked at
it from the perspective of who are the best tennis players? Pros! Let’s see
how they play the game!
His amazing discovery was that whether it was the forehand, the backhand,
or the serve, all the pros use the exact same techniques! Using the forehand as
the example, a very decent forehand is yours if you follow just 5 key steps.
I’m a little irritated at my high school coach, he was evidently just picking
up a paycheck.
Will analyzes all aspects of the game, both mental and physical, breaks it all
down, and gives you the tools to be a very solid player- for free! There is a
pay side of the site of course, but the free side is incredible. Will can’t be
over 30. An amazing coach.
You Tube also has some good coaching on it, two of whom are Tom Avery
and Into Sports.
