It is ironic that the liberalization of Iowa’s permit to
carry law came about with a Democrat Governor, House,
and Senate.
As Liberals in the mainstream media are predicting all
sorts of outlandish things to happen with more Iowans
carrying firearms.
They keep predicting men will mix alcohol with firearms.
No one can be that stupid right? But then, people mix
alcohol and driving.
I like to think there will be no incidents, but people do
have a way of doing stupid things. Look at the way people
drive at the first snowfall? Look at who they elect. Explain
Oprah?
But, as the responsibility to keep and bear arms is the most
important, I do hope this goes well.
Kyle Munson had a fairly well balanced article in today’s
Register about a permit-to-carry class he sat in on in Boone
being taught by Steve Hensyel. Steve is a co-founder of

Robert Fowler of Des Moines had an interesting phrase in a LTE about concealed carry. He said open carry tends to scare the sheep.
