EVERY media outlet I know of uses the phrase "immigration" to describe Arizona’s
attempt to keep out criminal aliens.
THAT is when they can ask a persons legal status, AFTER a stop for other illegal activities.
And secondly, the Federal Government can be the only one that changes immigration
quotas, not a State. In this day and age of bastardized word usage, it has to be
pointed out that immigrants are the ones with green cards, visas, work permits, and
applications for citizenship. The AZ law has nothing to do with them.
The AZ law has to do with criminals who come in at midnight to murder, rape, and
pillage.
